We all know CVS Pharmacy and its great health products – but CVS as a company focuses on many things besides the selling of health products. CVS is a place to print documents for cheap, and also buy stamps.

Does CVS sell stamps? Yes, CVS sells stamps. You can buy postage stamps in a booklet of 20 for $13.20 at CVS to be used for your postings.

With CVS having over 9,000 stores across the U.S., you can literally get a store nearby where you can purchase your stamps.

I’ve written this post to make sure you’re well-informed about CVS stamps. Starting off, it’s important to know that not all CVS stores sell stamps.

But don’t fret, I’m here to guide you on how to locate the ones that do. Now, you might be curious about First Class Forever stamps and whether you can find them at CVS.

Plus, what if you just need a single stamp? I’ll walk you through all these questions.

I have answered some of your important questions in this post, so it will be very helpful if you read to the end.

Now, without further ado – let’s get down to business!

Does CVS Sell Stamps?

Yes, CVS sells stamps. If you want postage stamps, CVS is one place to buy them. Nonetheless, CVS sells only booklets that come with 20 individual stamps.

You might be thinking, “I just need one!” But consider this – with a booklet, you’ve got 20 stamps ready for all your future mailings. And guess what? The ones at CVS are the first-class type.

In my opinion, if you are looking for a wider selection of stamp designs for various occasions, the post office is the best place to go. But if you want a booklet of 20 stamps – then CVS is the best place to buy it.

What Type of Stamps Does CVS Sell?

does cvs sell stamps

CVS only sells first-class forever stamps. If you’re having trouble picturing them, those stamps have the U.S. flag on them.

However, it’s important to note that first-class stamps are simple and don’t come in various designs or themes.

What Are the Benefits Of First-Class Forever Stamps?

The cool thing about first-class forever stamps is that they do not expire. Secondly, their value appreciates when the first-class rates go up.

And how will that benefit you? If you have an old first-class forever stamp, it’s guaranteed that you won’t have to spend more money when postage rates go up; your old stamps are still good to use at the new rate.

Let’s say you have some first-class forever stamps that you bought a while ago at a certain postage rate, let’s say 55 cents each. Then, the postal service announces that they are increasing the postage rate to 66 cents per letter.

Now, with regular stamps, you might have to buy new ones at the higher rate to send mail. However, first-class forever stamps are special.

The word “forever” means they keep their original value, even if postage rates increase. So, you can still use those old 55-cent first-class forever stamps to send letters without adding extra pennies for the rate increase to 66 cents.

How Much Are Stamps At CVS?

Each stamp in the booklet costs $0.66, and when you multiply it by the 20 stamps in there, it adds up to $13.20. So, at CVS, you can get a booklet of stamps for $13.20, and interestingly, that’s the same price you’d find at your local U.S. post office.

What’s cool about these stamps is that they’re first-class forever stamps, which means they never lose their value or expire. So, they’re pretty much a good deal!

How To Buy Stamps at CVS

CVS stamps can be bought at the cash register. The stamps are kept by the cashier, so all you have to do is tell the cashier that you want to buy a booklet of stamps. To make it simple for you, follow these steps:

  1. Visit any CVS store in your vicinity.
  2. Go to the cash register
  3. Communicate with the cashier at work that you want some stamps.
  4. Make payment.

So you can see that buying stamps at CVS is a very seamless process.

Does CVS Sell Stamps Online?

No. CVS does not sell stamps online. You can only get stamps to buy at a physical CVS store. If there is a CVS store nearby, walk in and buy stamps from the cashier.

But if there is no CVS store nearby, I bet one is still not far away since there are 9,600 CVS stores scattered all over the U.S.

How To Locate CVS Stores That Sell Stamps

Like I said earlier, not all CVS stores sell stamps. It might even be that the CVS store in your vicinity doesn’t sell stamps. What will you do? You must find a CVS store where stamps are sold.

To find CVS stores nearby, just use the location finder tool. Once you’ve selected a store, it’s a good idea to give them a quick call to make sure they have stamps available before you head over. You’ll find their contact info listed under each store description.

Here’s the location finder for your convenience:

Why Should You Buy Stamps at CVS?

There are a couple of great reasons why you should consider buying stamps at CVS.

The first reason is its many stores. CVS has over 9,600 stores across the U.S., so there’s a good chance you won’t travel very far to spot one.

Secondly, CVS is a store where you can get other items to buy. It’s known as a consumer value store for a reason. After buying your stamps, you can get items like:

  • Groceries
  • Beauty products and cosmetics
  • Over-the-counter drugs
  • Seasonal merchandise, etc.

If I am to describe this briefly, I will say customer convenience—you can find a wide range of products under one roof at CVS.

Again, you should buy stamps at CVS because their stores are open 24/7. Plus, the stamps are affordable – just $13.20 for a booklet of 20 stamps.
